  Missie's usually has great customer service. We live close to Missie's and buy liquor from them frequently. Our experiences with them were less than admirable this past weekend. My boyfriend bought some wine from them four days ago and we really liked that wine and it was a good price. He went back the next day and the clerk knew nothing about the wine and my boyfriend asked for the store phone number so that he could go home and identify the wine and call back and ask about the wine. The clerk said "I don't know the store number". (And apparently didn't care to look it up) Two days later he bought a bottle of wine from Missie's and when we tried to open the bottle of wine, the cork was impossible to remove. It even broke his wine opener and the screw part broke away and was stuck in the cork. Slivers of glass from the wine bottle top scattered across our kitchen. When we took the bottle of wine back, the clerk said that we had to exchange it for the same bottle of wine. We argued that we didn't want to buy the same bottle of wine and have the same problem. He replied "Those things happen!" This is not the type of customer service that we are accustomed to from Missie's. They did allow us to exchange that bottle of wine for an equally priced bottle of wine, but the interchange left us feeling like Missie's distrusted us as customers: not satisfying at all for us since we are frequent and honest customers.
